Koloa Kauai Dark Rum
Koloa Kauai Dark Rum is made by distilling a raw cane sugar mash then cutting the results from filtered water that once flowed through the ancient Mount Waialeale, an ever landmark on the island of Hawaii. It is distilled in an incredibly 1210 gallon vintage copper pot still that is powered by steam. It is then distilled twice- once ate 160 abv then again at 180 abv. This full bodied and viscous pleasant rum teases with hints of dark chocolate, a vanilla character that is robust and is finished by a slight but ever present hint of espresso coffee.
